When is your shop open? 

Our location is currently open to the public from 8-1pm Monday to Friday. Stop by to learn about the coffee roasting process or share a cup of coffee with us. We are currently serving our different coffee origins as drip, aeropress, or pour over with the intention of adding an espresso machine Summer 2017. We also have light snacks available.

If those times are bad for you, please contact us at to arrange a private tour or join us for one of our community events.

We’re working to strike a balance between roasting quality coffee and serving coffee at our location so hours might adjust over the next few months and as we continue to grow. Please be sure to check back here, Google Maps, or Facebook for our hours.

Where do you get your coffee beans from?

We use several different coffee importers that we feel align with our values as a company.  We primarily use Red Fox Coffee Merchants,  Cafe Imports, and Coffee Shrub. Some of the things that we look for in an importer beyond fantastic, highly rated specialty coffee include:

  • Liveable wages for farmers, whether that is Fair Trade or beyond.
  • An effort to support women in business.
  • A support of environmental concerns and sustainability of coffee.


How often do you roast?

We roast based on demand which usually means several days a week. Since it is a bit of a production, and to make it more efficient with the roaster, we try to condense our roasting days and times down. Getting you the freshest roasted coffee is important to us!

Your website says the beans I want are on back-order. What does this mean?

What this means is that it is a bean we have unroasted inventory of, but do not have any roasted, packaged and ready to go. Please go ahead and place your order. This helps us determine what we need to roast and will assure you receive the freshest roasted batch. We will get it to you as soon as we roast. Delivery for local orders as well as shipments will usually happen within a few days.

Why don’t you have much or any roasted coffee on hand?

We want to assure you of the freshest coffee possible. Coffee starts to slowly degrade a few days after roasting, and is best if consumed within a few weeks to a month of the roast date. We try not to roast much more than the prior week’s demand- so please place your orders roughly the week before you need it.

How much should I order?

To have nice freshly roasted coffee available, order just enough for a week’s worth or so of consumption.

Why don’t you have my favorite bean available any longer?

Coffee is a crop, so for a given region, it is available only for a certain window of time. We would encourage you to try some new coffees and enjoy what they have to offer. Before you know it, that favorite will be available again, and in the meantime you have experienced many new flavors from a variety of regions around the world.

I like the idea of a subscription, but I may be out of town and won’t be able to consume all my coffee.

Out of town or you weren’t able to consume all your coffee – no problem – message us and we will postpone your delivery a week.
